This is Jasper,an Eastern box turtle. I have had him since July 1996,when we found him attempting to cross the highway just outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. My husband built a large,outside ?corral? that we put him out in anytime the temps are above 60 degrees,putting him back in his 10 galllon tank at night. He usually ?hibernates? during the winter,not eating anything until mid-Feb. He eats canned and dry box turtle food,bugs,and cooked chicken.
