Landmark Art Contest Contest Entry
This represents just one of over 2,000 natural stone arches in Arches National Park, Utah.
The arches are the result of sea sediment from millions of years ago. Through uplift and erosion by wind, water, and freezing, these unique in the world arches remain.
I tried to give this arch a 3D like appearance by use of shadows and light. It was done with water color pencils, which are a blast by the way. :) Hope you like it.
