Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry 
This is a burr or wild cucumber. I find it to be an interesting plant. I always seem to find them in the wetlands. The cucumber has many spikes, is round or slightly oval about 2" long. The plant is a vine just as the cucumbers we know and grows quite long. The cucumber is inedible and only has one seed. The flowers are tiny, maybe a quarter of an inch. I was attracted this one because I loved the tendrils around it. I hope you enjoy the shot! Thank you for viewing. :o) Helvi
