I went the zoo in Duluth, MN for the first time and got to see some African birds that I have not seen before. This one is a Red-crested Tucaro. This species is said to be the only birds to possess true red and green colors.
When we look at many other birds, the colors we are seeing are a reflection produced by the feather structure rather than the true pigment granules.
