This is another small section of the Tanana River, this is located north of my home about 360 miles, the Tanana River is a 584 mile tributary of the Yukon River, the Basin size is 44,000 square miles. The name Tanana is an Athabaskan name meaning Trail River. This was shot on my way back from Fairbanks off the Richardson Highway in mid September. The River gets its color from being glacier fed.
