The Knik River is a 25 mile (40 Km) River , it is sourced by the Knik Glacier, it flowed Northwest and West and empties into the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet, it is bridged twice. It is pronounced KA Nik and the name is Inupiaq and means Fire, the banks are finely ground Gravel, sand and silt. This is located about 28 miles north of my home.
