The beautiful Machhapuchchhre Mountain in the Annapurna Mountains which are part of the Himalayan Mountain Range in Northern Nepal. Machhapuchchhre is also known as Fishtail which becomes apparent when looking at it from the side. The small house perched on the pine covered hill in the foreground puts some scale to the famous and sacred mountain. Machhapuchchhre is 22,943 feet tall and it is believed to have never been climbed. No permits are issued for attempts at climbing this sacred mountain. It is unclear as to why it is considered sacred. Taken with my Sony RX100 VI.
