Man Touched Landscape Photos Contest Entry
The original mine was established in 1896 and only went to a depth of 90 meters since that time ownership and mans ability to increase depths has seen the large open pit developed with the road leading into a tunnel extracting the valuable mineral. Unfortunately that means a huge scar on the landscape but prosperity to the small town of Cobar.
