My daughter presented me with a magazine that had a abstract work of art on display and asked me if I could copy it. I told her I don't do copying also it might infringe copywrite. She said Oh mam just for me, I won't sell it" I didn't agree but a couple of days later I was in an ice cream parlour and had a knickerbocker glory!! My mobile rang and I took the call. When i got back to my feast it had started to melt and it reminded me of my daughters request so I photographed it and did this with a few adjustments on a very large canvas. The melting icecream area took ages to do many layers of wet on wet oil paint. She was absolutely delighted with it.. i am still not so sure haha! not my usual artwork.
