This precious little girl, Melissa, grew into a woman of grace and beauty. The apple of her mother's eye, her treasure. Last week Melissa was discovered in motel where she had been stabbed to death. How do you comfort a mother who has lost a part of herself. As I have lost my Alyssa 7 months ago, I know the excruciating pain that Juliette is going through. I wanted to ease the pain and memorialize her child. I drew this portrait in the hopes that she will find some semblance of peace. May our Heavenly Father embrace this mother with His loving arms.
