This is me, Oh! My. 13 years ago I went to bed hearing and awoke deaf in both ears. I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection. Having seasonal allergies my whole life this was normal. But not this time. The infection traveled from my sinus to the cochlea of my ear producing ears that can not hear. I lived in a totally deaf world for 2 years. What you see here is how I hear. Cochlear Implants one on each side of my head. 21 wires on each side that are routed to the cochlea so I can hear. After 2 years not hearing my husbands voice or my daughter these gave me a second chance. I am Beyond Lucky, I am so BLESSED! Their voices are sweet music to my ears.
