I took this picture in 2019 during my yearly visit with my family to Coorg (aka Kodagu).
Located amidst imposing mountains in Karnataka (South India) with a perpetually misty landscape, Coorg is the place to be for all nature lovers. This popular coffee producing hill station is not only popular for its beautiful green hills and the streams cutting right through them. It also stands as a popular destination because of its culture and people. The Kodavas, a local clan specialising in martial arts, are especially notable for their keen hospitality.
This was one of the many parks in Coorg. This depicts a scene where the Coorg women in their traditional dress are singing and dancing. The statues were very realistic. There was also a background music being played.
Camera: Canon SX130IS, standard settings. Image slightly cropped and resized to FAR requirements.
Enjoy!
