Black & White Art Contest Contest Entry 
I painted this portrait of Grover Washington Jr, who was a jazz musician (Dec 12 1943 - Dec 17 1999). I painted it in acrylics on a large 48 in x 48 in canvas. I painted it in black and white to emphasize the simplicity of just the man and his music.
