The idea of this Mixed Media piece came from growths I saw on a Juniper Bush. I thought they had a great resemblence to the Covid-19 virus. I thought it would create a great image of how we've been under siege. Let me also say....There is nothing great about Covid-19 and my heart goes out to all who have suffered from this invasive virus, in all the ways it has affected so many people. The image has both a negative and positive note to it. (1) If you look at it one way you can see the virus arriving and attacking earth. The ring around the earth represents the vast spread of the virus. (2) If you look at it in a positive note , you still see the attack of the virus, but the ring around the earh represents a defense from the vaccine. We now have hope!
