Took this photo of my newest deer skull to represent the darker side of Christmas this year due to the increasing spread of the Coronavirus. I covered a large piece of plywood with landscape fabric which I stapled in place and then put a large nail in the middle,then leaned the board up against the deck. Then I fitted the back of the deer skull over the nail and placed a small piece of wood under the skull to lift it up slightly. Used cotton balls in the eyes to hold the small red ornaments in the eye sockets and added the larger ornament hanging from the antler. Adjusted sharpness and color in final image,had to darken the background in order to remove creases in fabric and cover up the fabric weave,resulting in a solid black background. Edited out noticeable distractions,such as cotton in the eye sockets.
