Photograph of the Month Contest Entry

This is a photo of a phenomenon I have never seen before. The wind was blowing strongly creating large waves on Lake Chapala in Ajijic, Mexico. The waves were crashing against the rock retaining wall. In this case after the initial crash the wave went back out into the lake where it hit another incoming wave. The result was an explosion of water off shore. The sun was just right to get a nice backlit image. More to come.
