Caryopteris Longwood Blue or more commonly known as bluebeard or blue mist Spirea ~ a dry zone/drought tolerant plant that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. I was trying to capture the tiny flowers with their long delicate petals when I noticed the little gnat. I think it was a good shot!
