Man Touched Landscape Photos Contest Entry
Some years ago we visited the Isle of Capri, Italy. It is a resort area that dates back to Roman times. I felt like wearing a toga! lol. You have to look a bit at this image to figure it out. I shot it high on a cliff looking down several hundred feet to a switchback walkway to the Mediterranean sea. It is so steep they developed a stone walkway for people to get to sea level. If you look closely you can see people on the walkway, but you have to look hard as they are ant like! Certainly a man altered landscape, maybe first built by Romans. We did not go down the pathway as we knew we would have to come back the steep grade.
