Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
This image as created from a ground spider web. The kind you never really notice unless it has raindrops on it. This particular web was just covered with those beautiful jewels. I decided to make a kaleidoscope image out of it, but not your every day kaleidoscope image. When I make a kaleidoscope image I cut out parts that I like to create an image of my own. After that it goes back in the filter again and gather what I like. I also paint over areas I don't like. I'll do this several times until I'm satisfied with the image I'm creating. That's what I did here. Most of the grass was cut out and some of the droplets removed. I alos added a Topaz filter and a little saturation. There are several layers of design. When I was finished the rain droplets looked like liquid emerald and that's what I called it. I hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by! :o) Helvi
