Taken in chania in crete,this statue is at one end of chania tucked away from the main town and you could easily miss it if you stayed in town,but as i like wandering around different places rather that stick to typical tourist places i came across this complete statue of a hand,and although i do have a shot of the complete hand,i wanted to just get a part of it against the backdrop of water spray because it is also a fountain. Just a footnote chania is a great place to visit and see and take lots of photos as well,but it does pay sometimes to go beyond somewhere and see whats around or as i often do[when we can visit somewhere] is to look on line before you go somewhere and look to see whats there.
