Bridge Photo Contest Contest Entry
While visiting Curacao several years ago, we walked across the most unique bridge I have ever seen - The Queen Emma. The Queen Emma Bridge is a pontoon bridge across St. Anna Bay in CuraƧao. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters of the capital city, Willemstad. The bridge is hinged and opens regularly to enable the passage of oceangoing vessels. It floats on pontoons and is easily maneuvered to accommodate both foot traffic, automobiles and boats/ships. It's really cool to watch it in action and to walk across it is quite an experience. Taken with Canon EOS 60D F-stop - f/9 Exposure Time - 1/640 sec. ISO Speed - 100 Exposure Bias - -0.7 step Focal Length - 70 mm No flash, no tripod
