One of the things my mom loved best was working in her flower bed. My mom loved hiking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Those gifts deinitely found their way into my heart. My mom also encouraged her three kids to make birthday and holiday cards instead of buying them. It was because of her that I got started writing poetry and creating the images you see here. If you enjoy what I do, it is because of her!

I'm sure those of you who know me wonder why I chose the the pseudonym of Helvi2 for FANArt.
The name Helvi comes from Finland and was my mother's middle name. My mother was so Loving and supportive of my creative endeavors, I couldn't think of a better name that would pay tribute to her! Why did I add the number two after Helvi? Two was my mom's favorite number. Though my mom long ago passed away her spirit is with me in every creative endeavor. The image and Poem are for you Mom wherever you are!

Floral Explosion

A single floral entity
Puts on a grand display
When buds unfurl and open up
Into delightful sprays

Kaleidoscopic majesty
Will surely soon incite
Bright increments of color flow
That bring on pure delight

Explosive is the action seen
When those spring petals burst
And colors that were deep inside
Quench eyes with colored thirst

Graceful rainbows of explosion
Bring beauty that's unbound
Enthrallment of the highest kind
Entice us past spellbound

Spectacular, new fireworks
Keep spreading 'cross the land
Igniting every flower source
Into floriferous bands

Each captivating moment spawned
No eye would dare escape
When such breathtaking sights are found
Within a new landscape
