Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry 
My garden abounds with these pretty blue glow globe thistle. Upon forming their buds are silver, as the open they start to turn a pretty shade of blue purple and then these little flowers burst out all over them. As they start to fade they will return to a shimmery silver color. They can be invasive so once they start to fade I go through with a bag or two and cut the heads before they can seed. I created this photo for a friend who was very specific on wanting a blue purple flower to have printed on canvas. I hope you enjoy it as much as she did!
