I have a hummingbird feeder on my deck,and a short distance from it is a branch secured to the railing that I have photographed various birds momentarily perching on. One of the male hummers will perch on the top of the snag to guard the feeder from other hummingbirds.He was using it quite a bit today,so I finished what I was working on in the kitchen and went out on the deck in hopes of photographing him. He turned out to be quite cooperative,and I managed to get this lucky shot of him slightly stretching his wings and tail feathers. Adjusted sharpness slightly and brightness.
