Colorful Art Contest Contest Entry

I drew and painted this rooster with colored pencils, using some "Zest-It" after the colors were applied somewhat heavily as I went after trying "baby oil" earlier (which I found not as good as the former) to smooth or burnish as/after I drew and colored, to make more like a painted look. I observed several roosters and learned pointers from one artist. I did the rooster for a rooster-loving friend's birthday. He had lost his beloved banty rooster as well as a smaller hen.
