This is my niece Everleigh, she is 2 years old. My sister sent me this picture of her wearing Mommy's sunglasses and I fell in love with it. I haven't met my niece yet, my sister hasn't been able to get home since covid started. I will be sending this portrait out in the mail, I am hoping it makes it in time for Christmas. This is my first watercolour portrait. I had to cut out the white border in this image because my tape gave way and the paper would no longer lay flat. I had put the painting part of this piece off for a while, it seemed like a daunting task. But it turned out to be more fun than I thought. I used 2 different variations of black and sepia for the background.
