I made this collage using the pictures of various places I visited prior to 2018. I painted some of them too which you may see in the collage. My theme for this contest is about Nature and its protection.
Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment through habitat destruction; the extinction of wildlife; and pollution.
The major causes of environmental degradation are modern urbanization, industrialization, over-population growth, deforestation etc. Environmental pollution refers to the degradation of the quality and quantity of natural resources.
Consequences include increased poverty, overcrowding, famine, weather extremes, species loss, acute and chronic medical illnesses, war and human rights abuses.
If we do not protect Mother Earth, we are doomed faster than one can imagine.
