Birds - Art Contest Entry
These 3 are hens. Males are aggressive to hens who will be submissive but the hens stay together and share nesting eggs. There can be more than their own eggs in one nest. I saw these birds on a nature programme, they look like they are wearing feather stoles, ...so looked them up and used my new box of paints as a trial.

The Vulturine Guineafowl
Inhabits dry desert areas e.g Central Africa .. they mature at 2 years and live about 15 years. Excellent at running but rarely fly. Their chicks though fly soon after birth. They are not listed asendangered. #facts Wikapedia and sea world.com.
