These lovely birds are quite large in Costa Rica, where this was taken; unlike Florida where they are so small they could be mistaken for a dragonfly! This was taken several years ago when I made a classic amateur mistake taking the subject with a brighter light behind it. However I still thought it made for an interesting photo.
