Before I came here I was a poet on FS. Along the way I heard about shape poems. I wanted to go beyond just a mere shape and actually create an image. I started writing some poems in a design that resembled the poem I was writing about. ABout 10 or so years ago I asked Tom if I could post a poem here at FAR if it was in the shape of an image. He told me as long as it was an image I could. I have several here, a champagne glass, flowers, butterflies and a dancing snowflake. They are in very basic form and nothing fancy. This is a poem I submitted on Fan story a few years back. I thought you might enjoy seeing my poetic image here. AT some point I'm going to put those poetic images in a book here so they'll all be in one place. I hope I put it under the right catagory here. Hope you like the image and enjoy the poem.
