The Ferocactus [Column Cactus] is a genus of large barrel-shaped cacti, with large spines and small flowers. They are found in the South-Western US and North-Western Mexico. There are about 30 species. Domesticated Plants are found in gardens and parks in warm climates, and in greenhouses and botanical gardens around the world.
