One of the places I like to spend time at is one of the local nature preserves, Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Here you can walk on a carefully planned boardwalk trail through the marshland and see many species of birds flying, nesting or just hanging out. Generally, you will also see alligators, turtles, otters and other water-loving animals in lush vegetation undisturbed by man. These beautiful purple flowers can be seen in many places there as well.
