Wildlife Photo Contest Contest Entry

I had just cleaned my pool, was putting the leaf skimmer net away, turned and there in the pool was this alligator lizard trying frantically to get out of the water. I had to rescued him did so. Placed him on the concert deck, and he took off up the wire fence to the top and stopped once he got on the towel, where he stayed and sunned himself for a while. I had to take a few picture to show my grandson, who loved this picture, saying. "Wow, he sure is big. Look at all the different textures and colors."
