Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry

Thought it would be fun to create a little Halloween scare from deep in the ocean. I found this plastic fish in a craft store and used it to create this scene from down below. I made him a little more colorful because I know the fish in these depths glow. You might think the greenery is a plant.....but is it? Perhaps it's another predator with multiple arms looking for its lunch. Notice the slight glow! Maybe the terrifying fish attracted its attention by glowing just a little too much! Mixed Media: Major | Cut fish from original background, worked in .png mode, gaussian blur and change of color to original background, Topaz expressionist filter added to fish, slight embossment on fish, used smear brush to create plants...then copied and deleted from background, pasted plants back, added tint and some highlights to plants.. slightly embossed plants. Added light to t overhanging light on fishes head and blurred.. added rising bubbles....created shadows behind fish and highlighted fishes body
