Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

I haven't painted on canvas in a couple of months and I really needed this release. Painting a scene where I'd love to be, is therapeutic for me. I used to travel to the mountains often when I was a 45 minute drive away from Colorado. I saw some amazing countryside. Especially in Spring. With all this cold weather happening lately, I needed a mental getaway. My imagination can take me anywhere. Wanna come? I had no reference photo and allowed the painting to emerge as I created.
