Dogs - Art Contest Entry

This is my new neighbors dog. I decided to do a digital painting of him while we were dog sitting for a few days. For a surprise to my new neighbor, I will be gifting them a canvas iv Max.

Created two layers one for the background and one to paint Max the German shepherd
Used pencil hair stencil to create dogs hair
Used a few colours to create the layers of hair
Used water brush to create tongue
Pencil brush to create eyes and nose.

Used pencil brush to add mouth and teeth
Added yellow to the teeth as dogs teeth are not white they have yellow on them
Used smudge to blend hair and other area to look more softer and realistic
Used gradient brown and white for background
Did an adjustment to brighten the colours
