I couldn't resist this Highland cow and calf while driving around the beautiful Highlands of Scotland.
Highland cattle originated in the Scottish Highlands and Western Island of Scotland. It's a very hardy breed, able to withstand the cold and wet conditions of that region.
They are mostly bred for beef.
