Mixed Media: None | I sketched today quickly with an Ebony pencil, my first owl ever. Baby owls have a mostly graphite colored down; I added a touch of yellow to the beak. There is a lot of interesting info about owls. I share: Their pronounced egg tooth, that protrudes from their beak and allows them to crack their egg while hatching, disappears soon. Baby owls often leave their nests within four weeks--shorter transition than other birds.
