Ah! Dinosaurs! These long extinct animals FASCINATE me and I never tire of researching them and drawing their portraits! ( Thank you,Grampa, for getting me interested in them way back in the 50s! : D ) Here we have my portrait of a young adult Compsognathus,a small animal ( about the size of a modern Wild Turkey ) that is thought to have been a fierce ( and surprisingly Intelligent! ) little carnivore that hunted in large packs in the manner of a modern baboon troop! . These creatures inhabited Europe, central Asia and the Americas during the high Jurrasic period of around 125 million years ago, I drew this 'wide eyed' and attractive female specimen's portrait using a BiC ballpoint pen and a #2HB pencil.
