Visit to Billabong this morning before the rain set in - the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo appeared to be checking out the hollow in the gum tree and shortly after its mate arrived to see what he had to offer. Up above was a few protesting Rainbow Lorikeet birds as I presume that it originally was there nesting hollow. I think the Cockatoos won the home as on my return they had posted a lookout and no Lorikeets were in sight.
