This is a much photographed scene at the Garden of the gods park in Colorado Springs Colorado. At this point you are at the north end of the park looking over some of the amazing rock formations and many walking paths to enjoy. The park spreads over quite an area and this is a small section. The large blue mountain in the distance is Cheyenne Mountain - home of the North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD. It is buried deep within the mountain itself in a labyrinth of tunnels and underground rooms. You can see all of the antennae's on top, it is not open to the public but still beautiful to see from a distance.
