Color Red Art Contest Contest Entry
After researching the most beautiful birds or animals with the color red, I read about several birds. Out of the most beautiful and colorful ten birds in the world, at the top was this crimson red-and-red bird, (actually in the top seven) almost like the gorgeous crimson-rosella bird. I drew the bird and surroundings with soft pastel and added a little colored pencil. I drew/painted a very vivid rainbow. After bringing it into Photoshop to resize I decided to make the rainbow begin to fade or dissolve, in part, because I originally intended this for the "Colorful Art" contest, but the site went "snap" and it was too late to enter. Hope you enjoy this drawing/painting that took at least eight hours to complete.
