I was just about finished shooting this Crimson Rhodo when I thought it might be fun to see just how close can I get. So if we are going to get real close let's go big. I started by stacking all three extension tubes between lens and camera. That didn't work at all - to close to focus even stopping down to f/32. Ultimately I settled on an extra 31mm of focal length. This allowed me to move the camera back enough to let a good amount of light onto the scene but not negate the additional focal length. Kind of alien looking... Bob
