Donna Nook Nature Reserve is a stretch of beach in Lincolnshire, England where 2,000 Grey Seal pups are born annually. A path leads along the top side of the beach giving an amazingly close view of the seals, it's such an incredible experience to see them so close, especially during the breeding period. I've now visited three times and I'm always bowled over by how the beach is just littered with seals and their pups - at all stages of growth. This youngster was playing around in a puddle at the edge of the water, totally unconcerned by my presence - he was one of many photos I took on my latest visit there.
