Whenever I see ploughed or drilled fields I am saddened to know that summer is coming to an end and that a cold winter is waiting just around the corner. Summer is such a glorious time of year - for me it's beautiful flowers and fascinating insects, the smell of cut grass, hot sun followed by long warm evenings, and that total sense of freedom from everything, that only warm weather can create . . . What does summer mean to you?
