This I created while in school a few years (Six years ago I think) back. It was actually created as a magazine cover in my graphic design course. I honestly can't remember how I got to this but I do know I used a reference image and painted it in Corel Painter, then added extra effects in Photoshop. I did rework it a more over the years and recently.

I grew up with horses, dressage and show jumping but I admired the stock horses and their roles in farm life. Quarter Horses were one of my favorites.
