Photograph of the Month Contest Entry 
This shot was part of series I did with the local high school photography club. The extra credit challenge was to align the lens perpendicular to the central structures of the Poppy. Thereby eliminating any distortion from misalignment of the lens. Simple task right.. Oh yeah, the blossom leans at a 45 degree angle towards the ground. So Gorilla Pod to the rescue. Short, flexible, stays put and can take the weight of a DSLR & Lens. That was a fun day... Bob
