When we drove into Lagia the church was closed. I went around taking photos, and then we sat down at a cafe to get something cold to drink, when a lady came around the corner and opened the door. I have been into many churches in Greece, but this was a very special experience, because when I went in I could hear the most beautiful church music. I was alone in the church, and seeing all the wonderful wall paintings and at the same time listening to music like this almost brought tears to my eyes. I am not a religious person, but still this brought out such strong feelings.
