I originally began before digital cameras were available and used to develop my own black and white photos - a digital camera plus computer is a LOT easier and quicker!

In the garden this looked black and it was only in the editing that I realised it's actually dark purple! I then of course had to look it up to see what it is, and discovered it's a petunia.
