Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu, MC,. I did this portrait, among many versions, of one of my all-time favourite personalities that touched deep into my heart. This is on 9"x12" Strathmore paper 250 gsm.

Died: September 5, 1997, Calcutta, India
Residence at the time of the award: India
Role: Leader of Missionaries of Charity, Calcutta
Prize motivation: "for her work in bringing help to suffering humanity."
Mother Teresa was beatified on 19 Oct 2003. She was canonized by Pope Fransis I on Sep4, 2016.
